Cindi, where do you find backing large enough for a room size rug? Is monks cloth the only one that comes large enough to do say a 5 X 8 rug? I would like to attempt a room size rug but the monks cloth I have in bulk right now is not wide enough. Thanks!

Unfortunately it still sits in the UFO (unfinished object) pile. We are no long using the table it was designed for so the urgency is lost. One of those things I’ll get to someday.

I just happened to come across this . Amazing. I have only been hooking for about 6 months. My husband was a seebee he was in NMCB 1. I have never thought about hooking the battalion patch. Nice !!!

If I have a tiny amount I will rinse by hand and drip dry, otherwise I run it through the washer and dryer in a standard load.
